No, there is no minimum volume of checks per year. Agenda work with a diverse group of organisations looking to mitigate their risks during the recruitment process. This spans from large companies looking for thousands of checks per year across multi-internal departments and job roles down to smaller SMEs with a handful of specific hires per year with carefully planned bespoke screening levels.

Yes, Agenda perform international checks. The process remains the same with all checks administered by your UK based Agenda team. We have audited partners in place to perform international, criminal and finance checks across all 4 corners of the globe. Jurisdictions, employment, and validation checks are still performed in house due to having language capabilities. Our specialized team can take telephone calls in over 200 languages.
How long does a typical screening take?

Can we select our own package of checks?
Yes, you can select your own package of checks. Agenda perform over 22 background checks (all noted on our Menu of Services). You can build packages to suit the departmental and job role needs of your organisation. On average, organisations will have 3 separate screening packages to cover the needs of their business. Your experienced Agenda account manager can assist with recommended checks and packages that will suit the needs of your business.
What is employment verification?
Employers may verify employment history as part of the employee background check to confirm the work experience you have conveyed to them and to be sure you have the professional background and appropriate work experience required for the position. An employer will typically verify job titles, start, and end dates for each job, and will sometimes check on salary and job duties. An employer may also ask for the reason for termination and whether the candidate is eligible for rehire.
